SEND Information Report

What is the School Information Report?

At Mulgrave Primary School, we are committed to being open and transparent about the support we provide for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). One way we do this is through our School Information Report.

What is the School Information Report?

The School Information Report is a detailed guide that explains how we identify, assess, and support children with additional needs at Mulgrave. It outlines the services and resources we offer, how we work with families, and the extra help available to ensure every child can learn, believe, and succeed.

Why is it useful for parents?

  • Clear information: It gives you an easy-to-understand overview of what support your child can expect at school.

  • Helps you plan: Knowing what’s available helps you understand how your child’s needs will be met and how you can work with us.

  • Empowers you: The report tells you who to contact, how to get involved, and where to find further advice or support.

  • Supports decision-making: Whether you are new to the school or have been with us for years, the report helps you make informed choices about your child’s education.

When is it published?

We review and update the School Information Report every year to make sure it reflects the latest support, resources, and guidance at Mulgrave. The most recent version is always available on our website for you to access anytime.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss the report or your child’s needs, please contact Mr. Black, our experienced SENCO, via the school office. We are here to support you and your family every step of the way.
