At Mulgrave Primary School, we believe in “Every Child a Success,” and part of that is making sure families know about all the support available to children with additional needs. The Greenwich Local Offer is there to help.

What is the Local Offer? 

At Mulgrave Primary School, we believe in Every Child a Success—and that means making sure families know about all the support available to them. The Greenwich Local Offer is a vital resource for families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). 

It brings together clear, accessible information about the services, support and opportunities available across Royal Greenwich to help children thrive at home, in school, and in the wider community. 

The Local Offer includes: 

  • Support available in early years settings, schools, and through specialist SEND services

  • Health and social care support to meet a wide range of needs

  • Activities, leisure, training and employment opportunities for children and young people 

 

  • Practical guidance for families on applying for support, navigating assessments, and accessing the right help at the right time 

 

We encourage all our families to explore the Greenwich Local Offer and learn more about what’s available in the borough. If you have questions or would like support in understanding or using the Local Offer, please speak to a member of our Inclusion Team — we’re here to help. 

 

Why It’s So Important 

  • The Local Offer helps you understand what help is out there, and how to access it.  

  • It ensures that you don’t have to navigate things alone — there’s clear information about services that might otherwise be hard to find.  

  • Knowing about support early means children can get help sooner, which makes a big difference. 

 

How Mulgrave Supports You 

Our school is committed to inclusion and we know that not all needs will have formal diagnoses immediately. We work with children and families to put support in place early, as soon as a need is identified, because that helps every child to Learn, Believe, Succeed. 

If you’re unsure about any aspect of the Local Offer, or how to use it for your child, our Inclusion Team is here to help. We can support or guide you through: 

  • Understanding what services are available  

  • Completing forms or applications  

  • Working out what support might best meet your child’s needs 
     

How You Can Access It 

You can view the Local Offer via the Royal Greenwich website or through the Greenwich Community Directory. Royal Greenwich+1 

If you would like to discuss the Local Offer or any aspect of SEND support, please contact the school office and ask to meet or speak with a member of our Inclusion Team. We are always happy to help make sure you and your child have the access and support you need
