School Lunches at Mulgrave 

At Mulgrave Primary School, we believe that a nutritious, tasty lunch is an important part of every child’s day—and we’re proud to work with Chartwells, our dedicated school meal provider, to deliver just that. 

We offer hot school dinners every day, alongside a fresh deli menu, so there’s always something delicious for every appetite. Fresh bread is baked on-site daily, and our meals are prepared with quality ingredients to keep children fuelled for learning, play, and fun. 

Our Senior Leadership Team and Junior Leadership Team work closely with our school chef to ensure that the food we serve is not only nutritious, but also enjoyable and of the highest standard. We listen to our pupils’ feedback and regularly update our menu based on what they love most! 

We also take dietary needs seriously. For children with diagnosed allergies, we provide specialist, bespoke menus. Once you inform us of your child’s allergy and provide the appropriate medical documentation, a member of the Chartwells team will contact you directly to discuss and plan a safe, tailored menu. 

Vegetarian and Halal options are available every day, ensuring all children have access to meals that suit their dietary preferences and cultural needs. 

Throughout the year, we celebrate with a variety of special themed menus—from Chinese New Year and Christmas Dinner to exciting meals that tie into key events in the school calendar. These themed days are a real highlight and loved by pupils and staff alike!

Thanks to funding from the Mayor of London, school lunches are FREE for all children from Reception to Year 6 in London primary schools. That means your child can enjoy a hot, balanced meal every day at no cost to you—why not give them a try?
