Trips and Exceptional Experiences at Mulgrave

At Mulgrave Primary School, we believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom. Trips and exceptional experiences are a key part of how we enrich our curriculum, bring learning to life, and help children build cultural capital that supports their long-term development.

These opportunities allow children to:

• Deepen their understanding of topics they learn in school
• Experience new environments and real-world settings
• Spend valuable time with their peers, building friendships and teamwork
• Grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity

We expect all children to take part in at least one trip per term, alongside a range of exceptional experiences throughout their time at Mulgrave Primary School. This is part of our commitment to making sure that every child leaves Mulgrave with a bank of enriching, memorable experiences that help them learn, believe, and succeed.

Past Exceptional Experiences Have Included:

• Ice skating
• Trips into Central London to visit theatres and landmarks
• Dining out in restaurants
• Visiting the zoo and meeting animals up close
• Outdoor adventures and hands-on workshops
